CSI Graduate Assistant for Student Involvement

The Graduate Assistant – Center for Student Involvement will be responsible for the enhancement, advising, mentoring, and leadership development of members in the fraternity and sorority life community. This Graduate Assistant will work to ensure members are excelling in student academic and personal success, while fostering a lifeline affinity to the university. In addition, the Graduate Assistant will also be responsible for assisting in student club management, advising, and leadership development.

Job Details:
 Plan, execute, and promote Greek Life student leadership programming (Hazing Prevention, By-Stander intervention, etc.).
 Co-advise CSI’s Greek Leadership roundtable and support group.
 Advise student club leaders on event planning and management, contract negotiation, assessment of activities, and leading peer student groups.
 Co-coordinate student club registration, recognition and training process.
 Implement and coordinate student club/ leadership assessment and evaluation data.
 Assist with departmental student leadership programming and planning.
 Assist with the planning and execution of the major events such as: Student Involvement Fair, Student Club Training, SAFAC Committee Recruitment, Student Leader Awards and Recognition.
 Maintain and update CSI’s webpage and social media initiatives.
 Work with the Director Student Involvement to assist in day to day operations of the Center for Student Involvement including maintaining office hours.

Compensation: 6,630.00 (Stipend) and Roosevelt University Meal Plan Funds
