NCACES Emerging Leaders Leadership Development Program
2020-2021 Application
NCACES is excited to accept applications for their Virtual Emerging Leaders Professional Development Program for
the 2020-2021 academic year. Emerging Leaders should demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities such as
excellence in counseling, service, teaching or research in the profession. All masters-level and doctoral-level studentsand first
year professionals who are
currently members of NCACES are invited to apply.
Program Overview:
The NCACES Emerging Leaders Professional Development program will
connect participants with distinguished leadersfrom
the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), NCACES, and the
greater counseling profession. Those selected will have the opportunity to:
· Connect with a cohort of other emerging leaders from across the region
· Attend a virtual leadership
development workshop (mid-October)
· Work with an assigned mentor from NCACES on your
professional development goals
In recognition of their service to NCACES – all
participants will receive:
· Certificate of completion
and recognition in the NCACES conference program and on the NCACES Website
Applicants should submit their applications by July 15th and must include
the following in one PDF document:
· 2 page document highlighting
your leadership philosophy and
how your leadership skills could
be utilized in NCACES
· Professional CV highlighting
experiences in leadership,
counseling, research, and service
