Title: MTSS Considerations for Re-Entering the School Year: Building Strong Systems and Trauma-Informed Practices
Presenters: Drs. Jennifer Betters-Bubon (PhD, LPC) and Emily Goodman-Scott (PhD, LPC)
Description: School Counselors: What’s most important to consider, as you plan to go back to school in these unusual times? Join school counseling faculty to discuss how to plan for the start of the school year, focusing on building strong teams and systems, and using trauma-informed practices. This presentation with be framed using a MTSS (e.g., RTI/PBIS) frame: prevention for all, and more specialized supports for students with elevated needs.
