Seeking Graduate Students for the Community Partners Internship Program Assistant Positon

The Community Partners Internship Program Assistant supports the Program Coordinator in placing federal work-study eligible students in non-profit organizations throughout the Chicago area.  The program provides students with first-hand experience and reflection opportunities.

Principle Duties, Responsibilities and Other Job Related Information:
·         Act as a secondary supervisor to interns
·         Serve as a liaison and maintain contact between students, community partners, and coordinator
·         Assist in recruiting, hiring, and orienting interns
·         Co-plan and facilitate professional development/reflection sessions
·         Assist with the payment, budgeting, and archiving processes
·         Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements (Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required):
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Problem-solving skills
·         Time management skills
·         Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook

Position Qualifications (Minimum level of education and/or experience needed to be successful in the position):
·         Must be federal work study eligible
·         Must be willing to travel off campus
·         Graduate students strongly preferred

Hour requirements/schedule:
·         Must be able to work 20 hours/week (schedule to be negotiated)”
