Responsible for providing direct client
treatment and case management for a selected group of clients.
Provides and participates in program treatment modalities
including individual, group, and didactic sessions. Conducts
assessments on clients and families and participates in their
treatment and discharge planning.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a
behavioral science related field or Registered Nurse with
current Illinois license, Masters degree is preferred. CPR
Card, CADC preferred, previous experience in mental health is
preferred.
Responsible for
providing direct patient care to assigned patients on the
Behavioral Health Units. Conducts admission assessment
interviews with patients, family members, attending physicians
and treatment team. Provides, as directed, for the physical needs
of patients and assists each designated patient with his/her
activities of daily living.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work
or Bachelor’s degree in another field with a minimum of two
years related work experience, CPR Card, previous experience in
mental health is preferred.
- Assessment Specialist II
Conducts
Clinical Assessments at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health
Hospital, St. Alexius Medical Center and Alexian Brothers
Medical Center Emergency Rooms. Following assessment, the
Assessment Specialist consults with physicians, makes
appropriate treatment recommendations to patient or
parent, and coordinates admission procedures into the
appropriate level of care.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work, LCSW or
LCPC, CPR Card, minimum of three years experience in
mental health and/or addictions.
