Youth Guidance is currently hiring for W.O.W. Counselors.
Youth Guidance's W.O.W. is
a school-based counseling, mentoring, character development and educational
enrichment program that promotes social, emotional and behavioral competencies
in at-risk female youth. W.O.W.’s
curriculum addresses five core values: self-awareness, emotional intelligence,
healthy relationships, visionary goal-setting and leadership.

W.O.W. participants
actively engage in activities and discussions designed to improve self-image,
self-worth and social skills throughout 30 weekly sessions by increasing
developmental assets, improving interpersonal communication, self-management,
persistence, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
