Applying for Graduate Assistantships

The portal opens on February 1st
The application deadline is April 15th
Applicants can work on the application over time and do not need to complete it in one sitting, just be sure to save the progress you've made
Applications are not reviewed until after the deadline of April 15th
General Timeline:
Faculty review applications in May
Candidates are contacted for interviews in June
GAs are selected in late-June
The Department of Counseling and Special Education will likely (apart from any changes) offer two graduate assistantships
Students can also apply for GA positions in all other College of Education departments
