Job Opportunity: GED Instructor

Seeking instructor to be responsible for the delivery of GED curriculum, tutoring, and academic activities to SER Intensive participants (youth 16-21 years of age). This position is full time with benefits. It is not a traditional teaching position as it is for GED and a teaching certificate is not required.

Ozanam Scholarship Program


The Office of Mission and Values is currently searching for qualified scholarship applicants for the 2014-2015 academic year. The Ozanam Scholarship provides graduate school tuition for students who have been actively involved in advancing the Vincentian mission as a former Vincentian Volunteer or similar role. Additional requirements of the scholarship are:
Possess and maintain a cumulative and a quarterly GPA of at least 3.0 while at DePaul University 
Volunteer a minimum of 8-10 hours per week at a designated service site
Approx. 240-300 hours per academic year 
Participate in reflection sessions with other scholarship recipients 
Serve as representative of the Office of Mission and Values

For the fifth consective year, the DePaul Counseling program will make its trip to the state Capitol in Springfield, IL. In collaboration with several Illinios state associations, participants will join other counseling professionals to lobby for important bills that impact the profession and clients. Training materials and further instructions will be provided by Dr. Mason one week before the event, and additional training and a compliementary lunch will be provided upon arrival in Springfield. While this trip targets counseling professionals and students, anyone interested in mental health and education legislation is invited to attend. 
This event is FREE to participants.
