Queering Virtual Spaces: LGBTQ+ Youth Engagement in a Time of Remote Learning

Since the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic, young people and adults supporting young people everywhere have had to reshape and adjust education and programming spaces to fit into the virtual world. How are we ensuring these virtual spaces are affirming and inclusive of LGBTQ+ youth?

Please join Illinois Safe Schools Alliance, a program of PHIMC, and Pride Action Tank on December 8 at 5pm for this timely panel discussion on protecting, educating, and empowering LGBTQ+ young people in a virtual environment.

Illinois Safe Schools Alliance, now a program of Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago, promotes safety, support, and healthy development for LGBTQ+ youth, in Illinois schools and communities, through advocacy, education, youth organizing, and research.
