Job Opportunities

Happy Friday, I hope you are safe and healthy. Over the summer Ogden administration applied for the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grant through partnership with the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance and the Illinois State Board of Education. We are pleased to announce that recently the Illinois State Board of Education approved our grant application and Ogden International HS is a recipient of this highly coveted grant! This 21st CCLC grant partnership will include a deepened engagement with our students, teachers, families, and after-school participants over the next five years. We are incredibly excited to bring this grant to OIHS and use it to specifically enhance both our afterschool programming and parental involvement.

Two of the immediate first steps to get this grant off the ground are to hire both a 21st CCLC Site Coordinator as well as a 21st CCLC Program Director. Below are job descriptions for both job opportunities. If you or someone you know may be a good fit for either position please email a cover letter and resume to our counselor, Ms. Witherspoon,  at jswitherspoo@cps.edu. We will be accepting resumes for the rest of the calendar year. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out to Mr. Baker (mebaker2@cps.edu) or Ms. Witherspoon (jswitherspoo@cps.edu).  We are incredibly excited for this new partnership and are confident that this partnership, along with the increased resources that comes with it, will go a long way in serving the needs of our OIHS scholars and families.
