Participation in research on student experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic

 Dear Students,

We are sending you this email to invite you to participate in an IRB approved research study that will help us better understand how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted your experiences as college students in areas such as you sense of wellness and academic focus. We value your perspectives and participations as they are essential to help understand your experiences and how to better support you in this crisis and beyond.

Your participation in this study is voluntary; to take part in this study, you must be (1) students currently enrolled in institutions of higher education regardless of institution types, and (2) at least 18 years of age.

Your participation in this study is anonymous, and individual responses will remain completely confidential as no one will be able to identify you from any of your responses.  If you wish to enter into a raffle for a chance to win one of five $20 Amazon gift cards, please leave an email once you complete the survey. (note: you will be provided a new link that leads to a separate page for entering your email in order to protect your anonymity.)

If you are interested in participating, please follow the survey link below to complete survey instruments and a short demographic questionnaire (8-10 minutes):

If you have any questions or need more information about this research, please feel free to contact me, Yusen Zhai (zhai@psu.edu), or my advisor, Dr. JoLynn Carney (jcarney@psu.edu).

Many thanks for your time and help!

Sincerely,
