The Black Mental Health Symposium Conference

The Black Mental Health Symposium is an annual conference aimed to equip mental health practitioners, supervisors, and educators with culturally-responsive interventions that improve mental wellness in Black communities. It will be held on September 10-11, at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta GA. The call for proposals is open until 3/24. All proposals welcome, especially submissions regarding Black couples and family counseling, parenting, LGBTQ, addictions, grief, trauma, community violence, ethics, research and evidence-based practices, post-slavery syndrome, transgenerational trauma recovery, and culturally-responsive treatment approaches.
