Kenneth Young Center Opportunity

I wanted to share an opportunity for part-time employment for students enrolled in your program.  Kenneth Young Center has a large Behavioral Support Program (Mentoring) for children, teens and young adults. Mentoring is an adjunctive service to therapy and is overseen by the therapist.  This is a great opportunity for students to get experience and to be part of a team providing clinical services prior to completing their degrees.  It is ideal for KYC if the mentor lives in the North Suburban area given the work is community based.

We are actively looking for candidates who are able to work with children, adolescents and young adults with emotional and behavioral challenges in the Des Plaines/ Mt. Prospect area. We are also beginning to recruit staff for our parent coaching program in which mentors are assigned to parents that have children working with a KYC therapist.  For additional information, please visit KYC’s Employment page at https://www.kennethyoung.org/careers
