BEF Education is looking to add a Special Education Tutor to our
vibrant and dedicated team! If you have a background in education and
experience working with diverse learners and students with special needs you are
highly encouraged to apply!
The Special Education Tutor will provide evidence based academic
instruction to students K-12 who need support with executive functioning,
reading comprehension, homework support, and other academic related areas.
Coaching sessions will be provided in the home or school setting and will run
for 1-2 hours. Sessions will take place on the north side of Chicago and
Chicago suburbs.
Requirements:
-Ability to travel to a minimum of 5 of the following locations
(Lincoln Park, Roscoe Village, Old Town, River North, West Loop, South Loop,
Gold Coast, Lincoln Square, Bucktown, Rogers Park, Ravenswood, North Center,
Lakeview, Naperville, Winnetka, Wilmette, Evanston, Glencoe, Northfield, &
Glenview)
-Ability to work up to 10 hours per week M-F between the hours
of 2-8
