A large component of UA’s programming involves college access support, where Urban Alliance staff review everything from selecting the best fit schools for each student and assisting with their FAFSAs (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to assessing their financial aid packages.

What is College Essay Day? 

Volunteers will partner 1-1 with Urban Alliance Interns to provide feedback on their personal statement drafts.

Directions from the closest CTA Train Stops:

·        State and Lake stop: take a right. Walk 1 block north to East Wacker Drive. Hyatt Regency Chicago is about 3 blocks down.

·        Clark and Lake stop: Walk 2 blocks east on East Lake Drive, followed by a left onto North State Street. Walk 1 block north to East Wacker Drive. Hyatt Regency Chicago is about 3 blocks down. 

Parking Information:

Parking is available, however Urban Alliance unfortunately will not be able to reimburse volunteers for parking expenses.
