and school equity
Dr.Javius has established a reputation of inspiring
educators to incorporate Educational Equity in enhancing school transformation.
The work of Dr. Javius has prompted educators to change the dialogue from
achievement gap to closing the “Opportunity Gap.”
Dr. Javius has authored several articles on the topics of
closing the achievement gap, race, and Culturally Conscious leadership.
A graduate of University of California,
Berkeley, Dr. Javius holds a masters in Urban Leadership from Fresno Pacific
University and a Doctorate in Urban School Leadership from the University of
Southern California.
Licensure Workshop
This Thursday, October
24th, DSCO will be hosting a Licensure Workshop. Dr. Tovar Murray will be
facilitating the workshop. Please bring any questions or concerns regarding the
licensure process (LPC, LCPC). The workshop will be held in the Lincoln Park
Student Center, Room 324 at 3:30pm.
