SFBTA

Are you a graduate student? And are you interested in doing research related to solution-focused brief therapy?
If so, please consider applying for a 2018 SFBTA Research Award.

The SFBTA Research Awards are aimed at fostering the growth of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy by encouraging original research in solution-focused practices, and to support students, faculty, researchers and clinicians who wish to study solution-focused practices. The inclusion of clinicians is an effort to bridge the gap between research and practice in advancing knowledge of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. The 2018 SFBTA Research Awards will provide up to $2,500.00 to support ongoing or proposed studies. Priority will be given to research that supports empirical evidence of SFBT practices, mechanisms of change, meta-analyses on SFBT interventions or other research which could directly or indirectly investigate the effectiveness of SFBT practices.
For a proposal outline or more information, please contact me at m.stark@tcu.edu<mailto:m.stark@tcu.edu>.  Applications are due by July 15th.

Thursdays, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

What role does education play in international sociopolitical processes? How does it interact with globalization and  neoliberalism,  international development, conflict and emergencies, etc.? How are children, families, teachers, communities and societies affected by education  policies?  Who shapes education policy, and how? How are inequities in society addressed through education?
