Counseling students!!- the ECC needs your help volunteering for the Penedo Summer Camp!!! The camp begins July 10th until August 16th; Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30-2:30.
What is needed? Counseling students who are willing to facilitate weekly art projects, weekly psychoeducation topics (on topics relevant to girls/adolescents/wellness/health/internet safety/friendship/empowerment/etc...). You can volunteer for just 1-2 hours presenting a particular topic, or volunteer for 1-2 hours facilitating a particular art project. Or- you could volunteer to be the weekly art facilitator on the day and time of your choice. We will also have "cinematherapy" where we will show relevant movies with discussion- you could volunteer for that!
If you are not sure what you want to help with, but you know you want to help- there is definitely a spot for you!! You do not have to be at the entire camp to volunteer for something!!!
Remember- it looks great on your resume, and Dr. Mason gives great recommendations for facilitators! ;)
