Purpose
Pitch 2017
Calling
all designers, programmers, artists, business people, writers,
freelancers, creatives, scientists, entrepreneurs, and beyond! The
Coleman Entrepreneurship Center will award $25,000 to DePaul startup
companies on May 11, 2017, at the first ever Purpose
Pitch, held at 1871. DePaul startups will pitch to judges who will
consider not just the financial projections of the business, but the
purpose driving the business.

Want
to participate, but need help developing an idea? The Coleman Center
holds weekly workshops with entrepreneurs and professionals. Charles Adler, co-founder of
Kickstarter and Lost Arts, will present a workshop on
ideation—Bridging Tech, Design, Art & Business—on Thursday, March 30,
at 4pm in the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center. Register

Want
to participate, but don’t have a team or co-founder? Start talking to
your friends and peers and networking to build your team. As a DePaul
student, you can reserve space in the Coleman Center to work on your
business. Email CEC@depaul.edu to request an office, conference
room, or co-working space in our suite, DePaul Center
(1 E Jackson Blvd) Suite 7900.
You
do not need to have a legally established business entity, a pitch
