Students,
We have some exciting changes that we’re delighted to share
with you! As of June 1st, you now have two advisors assigned
to you to assist you in navigating and planning your studies in the Counseling
Program. Your primary advisor will be a professional Academic Advisor in
the Advising Office (see list below) and your second advisor will be a faculty
member in your specialty area. You can meet with your Academic Advisor
via scheduled appointment, walk-in appointment (available during registration
week and first week of the quarter only), or through email or phone
correspondence. They are available to assist you in registration issues,
following the cohort plan, navigating the university, utilizing university
resources, and general questions about your specialty. Contact the
Academic Advisor directly to make an appointment. Faculty Advisors are
available for more in depth questions about course content, transfer course
questions and approvals, and dialogue about the profession.
