Dear CSL students,
As you know, a CACREP site team has been visiting DePaul for the
last three days. They spoke to many stakeholders including current students,
alumni, site supervisors and faculty. We thank those of you who participated in
this process.
We thought that the site visit went very well. In their
feedback, the site team commended the high-quality reputation DePaul has earned
throughout our schools and communities, the dedication of our faculty, the
impressive achievements of our alumni, and our strong commitment to social
justice and advocacy.
The site team stated they will make their recommendations and that
we should not expect to hear about a decision until the CACREP board meets in
several months.
We are delighted to have reached this step towards a long-standing
and important program goal. Throughout the process, we were reminded
often about how fortunate we feel to work with such committed and talented
students. Keep up the excellent work.
