Better Together Educator Collaborative (BTEC) is working with a local nonprofit to provided ongoing, grant-funded tutoring to a group of ~40 students from several South side high schools. We're looking for tutors who can work individually with students, provide support during drop-in tutoring, and/or lead group lessons on Saturdays (variety of subjects/topics, including college/career readiness and support)
Hours/week: ~1-5 from October-May with potential for continued tutoring

Position requirements: Minimum HS diploma/equivalent; experience working with young people in an academic and/or mentoring capacity; interest in building relationships; knowledge of OR willingness to learn about restorative justice techniques, social/emotional learning, and relevant trends in education.
