General Summary:
The Education and Development Grant for Employability (EDGE) Program is a yearlong program for eligible first year students at DePaul University. This campus-wide program combines opportunities to develop career and money management skills along with active participation in a departmental team. The EDGE Data and Program Assistant will report to the EDGE Program Director but also assist the EDGE Assistant Director with projects. In their role they will be responsible for data collection from student and team leader surveys as well as program administrative duties.

Principle Duties, Responsibilities and
Other Job Related Information:
- Create and send out online surveys
to EDGE students and team leaders
- Assess results and create reports
- Assist with the process of placing
students on EDGE teams
- Responsible for entering workshop evaluations and
compiling recommendations to improve content or activities
- Track attendance for mandatory workshops
- Prepare for quarterly events by creating presentations,
agendas and inviting panelists
- Act as event staff with quarterly
events
- Provide additional administrative
support when needed
Position Qualifications (Minimum level of
education and/or experience needed to be successful in the position):
- Previous experience with survey
compilation (SurveyMonkey, or Qualtrics) and data analysis strongly
preferred
- Junior, Senior or Graduate student
status focusing on anthropology, psychology, marketing research, data
analytics or student affairs
- Former EDGE student is a plus but
not necessary
- Ability to turn complex
qualitative and quantitative data into reports and presentations
- Knowledge of various presentation
platforms such as PPT, Canva and Prezi
- The successful candidate will have
excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to take
ideas from EDGE staff and produce high quality work
- Strong attention to detail is
necessary
Hour
Requirements/Schedule:

Approximately 10 hours
per week
·
Some weeks may be less
during downtimes of the EDGE Program
·
Flexibility with hour
schedule but needs to be during normal business hours (M-F 9-5)
·
Little to no work over
school breaks
·
Student would need to
commit to this position for the 2018-19 year
·
Availability to be on
campus and start training mid to late August
