ASERVIC is pleased to
announce that we are accepting applications for the 2018-2019 ASERVIC Emerging
Leaders program. The program is open to graduate counseling students
(Masters or Doctoral) and New Professionals for a term running from July
2018-June 2019. Emerging leaders will have the chance to enhance and
expand their leadership skills and professional development, as well as receive
mentorship from the ASERVIC board members. Emerging leaders will be
tasked with providing a minimum of 50 hours of service to ASERVIC as conference
volunteers, committee membership, and mentorship activities.
Emerging
Leaders will receive free conference registration to the 2019 ASERVIC and/or
2019 ACA Conferences (the position requires attendance at one conference, but
ASERVIC will support attendance for both through free registration in exchange
for volunteer services), be recognized at the awards ceremony, and also be
featured in ASERVIC’s newsletter. Upon completion of 50 hours of service,
Emerging Leaders will also receive a stipend of $333.
