We are open to recent graduates or those with a few years of experiences working with students with special needs in any capacity whether it be through internships, summer camps, etc. These individuals need to be dedicated and passionate to helping students with special needs, have a high level of patience and strong attention to detail when documenting behaviors during their one-on-one sessions. We have interviews scheduled for early next week and would love to start speaking with potential candidates ASAP.

Position: Behavior Counselor
Duration: Permanent (paid hourly)
Locations: Morton Grove, Downers Grove, Huntley, Winnetka and West Loop (Downtown Chicago)
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Meet with lead Behavior Analyst following assessments of new clients
- Implement and monitor treatment plan
- Keep thorough documentation of each session
- Meet regularly with behavior analyst to discuss progress and next steps in therapeutic process
- Understand Treatment Plan and explain it to parents
- Regular assessments
- Serve as member of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- ABA education or experience
- Experience working with children with ASD
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to interact effectively and empathetically with both the clients and their family members
