The Management Department in cooperation with the Chicago Housing
Authority is hosting for a third time the BMO Harris Financial Literacy and
Leadership, One Summer program. This is a six week program for 30 hand selected
CHA resident high school students. Students entering their junior or senior
year can apply and will go through a rigorous selection and interview process
to be able to participate.
The Department of Management
is seeking a Counselor/Student Mentor. This is a paid position.
Your job is to engage, guide and help lead this group of diverse
children through this demanding program to support their participation in the
program in which they will learn valuable skills for success in college and the
workplace.
The program involves visits to various fun off-campus sites, as
well as on-campus instruction from DePaul Driehaus College of Business faculty
and visiting speakers, executed by the Department of Management.
The program begins Wednesday, July 6 and generally runs from 9am
to 3pm on Monday-Thursday, with the last day of the program occurring on a
Friday, August 12.
