There are currently part-time job openings for
students in the Chicago area who wish to experience working with children with
Autism. If you know of any students who would be interested, or would
like to pass this information on, it would be greatly
appreciated.
Being
closely supervised and trained, students will work one on one with
children with Autism in the home and/or school environments. They will
experience how the environment impacts behavior, and how environmental
arrangements can help children overcome a range of mental and social challenges.
It
is a fantastic experience for anyone, especially one who plans on a career
working with children.
Hourly
rates range from $15 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
