We are currently seeking reading tutors to participate in a coaching and teaching experience during the Summer I session. Under the supervision of their instructor, graduate students enrolled in their final course in the Reading Specialist program, “Leadership and Professional Development in Literacy”, will provide training and serve as your mentor and coach as you provide one-on-one instruction to a struggling literacy learner.

  3. Participate in a post-session debriefing with reading coaches from 6:45-7:00.
  4. Communicate with coaches via email on a weekly basis.
  5. Communicate student progress with parents at the conclusion of the experience.
